From designing and building sets, writing skits, creating characters and putting on a show, KIDSCAMP campers are taught by working theatre professionals, teachers, and college theatre students during what is affectionately known as “Drama Boot Camp!”
KIDSCAMP is offered to children entering 1st through 5th grades, Monday through Friday with a demonstration on Friday afternoon. Our half-day option is also available to children entering kindergarten. The cost includes a KidsCamp water bottle and t-shirt.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF SESSIONS OFFERED:
HALF DAY KIDSCAMP is from 9:00am to 12:30pm (light snack provided)
Cost is $175 per child per week - $25 off for additional siblings
FULL DAY KIDSCAMP is 9:00am to 5:00pm (morning and afternoon snack provided – students need to bring their own lunch)
Cost is $275 per child per week - $25 off for additional siblings
The cost for each week of KIDSCAMP includes a T-shirt and the Showcase demonstration on Friday for friends and family. Costumes, props, and make-up provided.
Each week of KIDSCAMP has a different theme:
WEEK ONE: June 10–14 —Ancient Egypt
WEEK TWO: June 17–21 —Wondrous Wizards
WEEK THREE: June 24–28 —Everything is Awesome
WEEK FOUR: July 8–12 —In a Far Off Galaxy
WEEK FIVE: July 15–19 —Christmas in July
WEEK SIX: July 22–26 —Princesses, Knights & Dragons
All weeks have full day and half-day options for students entering 1st through 5th grade.
