As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, NCTC depends on the support of our community to keep the doors open. Each year we set a fundraising goal, and for our 2011-12 Season our goal is $10,000.
Now, 10k sounds like a good chunk of money, but if you break it down by production, and then by audience attendance, it really isn't that much. Here's how we look at it:
10 shows
8 performances each
Average of 50 in attendance each show
10x8=80x50=4000
10,000 divided by 4,000=2.5
So for a donation by every patron of just $2.50 we can reach our goal!
Now we know that every show will have varying attendance, so we recommend everyone just round up to $5 or $10 just to be safe!
Seriously, your donation of any amount is appreciated and goes right back in to our budget to help us make improvements to our building, keep our production quality high, and keep our ticket prices reasonable. In fact, we are one of the best entertainment values in the South Metro area.
