About the Show
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are back on the case! An investigation into the Bohemian king’s stolen letters cascades into an international mystery filled with spies, blackmail and intrigue. With world peace at stake, Holmes and Watson join forces with American actress Irene Adler to take down cunning criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty and his network of devious henchmen. Five actors play over 40 roles in this adventure that has danger – and laughter! – around every corner.
About Auditions
Auditions will be held at Newnan Theatre Company. Please enter through the lobby to sign in and complete an audition form. Auditionees should bring a list of conflicts and may also bring a performance resume and headshot if available. Auditions will consist of cold reads and chemistry reads.
Auditions will be held on Monday, June 22 and Tuesday, June 23 at 7:00pm. Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. to allow time for check-in before auditions begin.
Character Description
Ensemble cast of five actors portraying multiple roles throughout the production. Typical casting breakdown is listed below, though roles may shift based on casting needs.
Actor 1: Sherlock Holmes
Actor 2: Dr. Watson
Actor 3: Hacek, Otto Von Ormstein, Moriarty, Mrs. Gasner, Porter, Conductor, Paddy Keys, Nefertiti, Mycroft Holmes, Lestrade, Rough with a Bludgeon, Bartender
Actor 4: Irene Adler, Mrs. Hudson, Cartwright
Actor 5: Perkins, Daisy, Milker, Vicar, Mrs. Barabas, Hilda Klebb, Toby, Cab Driver, Hans
