NTC Academy of Theatre Arts

Newnan Theatre Company’s Academy of Theatre Arts offers musical theatre classes for middle school and elementary students. Classes focus on staging a performance. This performance-based class welcomes all levels of experience.  Students will learn many facets of theatre, including stage directions, vocal technique, choreography, character development, set design, costuming, and more. Each student will be able to perform.

Newnan Theatre Company is now accepting Fall 2021 enrollment for the NTC Academy of Theatre Arts!

Monday & Tuesday, August 9 - November 3, 2021

4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Middle School on Mondays / Elementary on Tuesdays

Cost

Payment can be made in full, in two payments of $150, or in four payments of $80.

SCHOLARSHIP

For the first time NTC is able to offer grant-supported scholarships to its Academy students, grades 2-12. Thanks to a generous donation from the Coweta Community Foundation, Inc., NTC will offer 10 students (from either the Academy or Actor’s Workshop) paid tuition for the entire school year. Students must come from families that have been impacted by the tornado that struck Newnan and parts of Coweta County in March 2021. Any student attending school between 2nd and 12th grades is eligible to apply.
