FAQ

Where are you located?

We are located in beautiful downtown Newnan, Georgia, next to the First Avenue Park. Head south from the Court Square (LaGrange Street). Pass the Alamo on your right, heading toward Newnan High School. At the flashing yellow light (before you go over the bridge), take a right onto Long Place (Goodyear Tire is on the corner). NCTC is on your left at the stop sign (corner of Long Place and 1st Avenue). See a map here.

Where do I park?

If the NTC parking lot is full, you can park in the public parking lot behind City Hall or on the corner of Spring Street and First Avenue. You can also park along Long Place. Please be aware that the businesses across the street from us own their parking spaces and we cannot take them! This is not an issue generally on during evening performances, but during matinees we need to be considerate of their parking needs! NTC cast and crew members should always park in the city parking lot during performances.

Do I have to prepare anything for auditions?

Any requirements will be noted on our Auditions page. Please bring a resume and current photo (a headshot if you have one) to any audition. At auditions you will also be asked to fill out an audition form so we have more information about you.

If you would like to submit your headshot, resume, or performance clips for consideration electronically for any production, please email

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations are made online. Choose the show and performance you wish to attend, purchase your ticket, and receive a ticket instantly you can print out at home, work, or wherever — just bring it to the box office with you on the date of your reservation.

Are there any benefits to being a season ticket holder?

Yes, there are many benefits to being a season ticket holder! They include:

  • Reserved seating, usually within the first three rows

  • Discounted admission

  • Faster check-in

  • Invitations to special events during the year

  • Knowledge that you are contributing to the local theatre and arts community

Can I videotape or take photos of any productions?

No — audience members cannot record or photograph any performance in our regular season. Videotaping, photographing or recording any performance is a violation of the copyright laws of the United States.  The only time you would be allowed to take photos or videotape would be if it is an original production of NTC, as in our KidsCamp shows that the campers have written themselves. An announcement will be made at the beginning of every performance regarding this.

Can I direct a show at your theatre?

Please contact our Managing Director (managing-director@newnantheatre.org) for information concerning directing at NTC.
