For more than fifteen years, Newnan Theatre Company’s improvisational comedy troupe, N.I.T.W.I.T.S., has been bringing fast-paced, audience-driven comedy to the community. Inspired by the style of shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway?, each performance is completely unscripted and built from audience suggestions. From random topics and locations to unexpected objects and scenarios, no two shows are ever the same. With themed performances throughout the year, N.I.T.W.I.T.S. offers a fun night out where the audience becomes part of the show and anything can happen.
LUNATICS
The Lunatics is Newnan Theatre Company’s developmental improv group for performers who are newer to improv or looking to continue building their skills. Members audition for the group and work on improv games, scene work, audience interaction, and live performance experience. The Lunatics are also invited to perform at select shows throughout the year, giving members the opportunity to gain stage experience while growing as improvisers.

Pajamas! Questionable late-night conversations! The sudden realization that you’re way too old to be sleeping on the floor! Join N.I.T.W.I.T.S. for a night of late-night chaos, questionable choices, and improv that definitely should have gone to bed hours ago: N.I.T.W.I.T.S.: Sleepover!
Our players will bring all the unhinged energy of an adult sleepover to the stage—minus the awkward search for somewhere to sleep. Expect improv games, ridiculous scenarios, unexpected twists, and the kind of chaos that happens when a group of adults gets together and collectively decides that bedtime is a suggestion.
There will be laughs! (hopefully) secrets! (maybe) and absolutely no responsible adult supervision! So grab your friends, stay up past your bedtime, and join our N.I.T.W.I.T.S. for a night of improvised fun you won’t want to sleep through!
