At NTC, we believe every student should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and find their place in the arts. Scholarships are available to help remove financial barriers and recognize students who embody creativity, passion, and the spirit of our theatre community.
NTC is pleased to offer two different scholarships for the Academy of Theatre Arts program:
City of Hope Theatre Access Scholarship (up to 4 recipients) : The City of Hope Theatre Access Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to participate in NTC Academy programs. Scholarship recipients will be asked to complete a brief program survey as required by the grant funding that makes these scholarships possible.
The Courage to Create Scholarship (up to 2 recipients) : The Courage to Create Scholarship is in memory of Juli (who went by the nickname Luna during her time in Academy). This scholarship is for a student(s) who demonstrate creativity, individuality, resilience, kindness, and a love for the arts. The scholarship will be given to a student(s) who have overcome challenges, found confidence through theatre, or who embody the welcoming and supportive spirit that Juli brought to the NTC community. Preference is given to students in the Innovators program.
City of Hope Theatre Access Scholarship made possible through the City of Hope Employee Kindness Grant
