Join us this summer for a dynamic improv workshop series designed to get students think creatively, grow their confidence, and have fun. Held across select summer Fridays, these sessions are open to a range of ages and experience levels whether students are brand new to theatre or already comfortable on stage.

Workshops are divided by age group:

  • Rising 4th–6th Grade: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Rising 7th–12th Grade: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

Led by Olivia Ratliff, NTC Operations Manager and NITWITS Improv Troup director, students will learn the fundamentals of improvisation in an encouraging, fast-paced environment.

Participants will also have the opportunity to perform in a special end-of-session showcase, with select students invited to open for a professional comedian in a live performance setting.

  • July 30: 5:30pm (Call Time) / 7:00 ( “Graduation” Show)

  • August 5 : 5:30pm - 6:30pm (Special Comedy Show Dress Rehearsal)

  • August 7 : TBD (Comedy Show)
